Adjust Screen Resolution

 

RI UHIP’s lowest supported screen resolution is 1024 x 768.

 

Use this procedure to adjust the size of a monitor's display screen so that RI UHIP is viewed in its optimal resolution.

 

If the monitor is set to a different screen resolution, the user may have to perform additional vertical or horizontal scrolling to view the entire application window. Most users should not need to adjust their displays. However, if an adjustment is required, follow the procedure outlined below.

 

 

For operating systems other than Windows 7, consult your computer manufacturer’s user manual on how to adjust screen resolution.

 

Process Steps for Windows Operating Systems

 

1.      Click the Microsoft <Start>button in the lower left-hand corner of the computer monitor.

 

2.      Select <Control Panel>.

 

·        The Control Panel window appears.

 

3.      Double-click the <Adjust Screen Resolution> link in the <Appearance and Personalization> section.

 

·        The Change Appearance of Your Display window appears.

 

4.      Locate the <Resolution> drop down menu.

 

5.      Select  1024 x 768 from the drop down options.

 

6.      Click <Apply>.

 

·        The screen resolution temporarily adjusts to the specified resolution.

 

·        A Monitor Settings pop-up box displays, asking “Your desktop has been reconfigured. Do you want to keep these settings?”

 

7.      Click <Yes> to keep the new resolution.

 

8.      Click <No> to revert back to the previous resolution, or to select a new resolution.

 

9.      When finished, click <OK> to keep the new resolution setting.

 

 

Results of the Procedure:

 

The screen resolution is adjusted to the size specified by the user, so RI UHIP is be displayed in its optimal resolution.
