Username and Password Recovery

 

Use this guide when the admin user has forgotten his/her username or password to the system.

 

 

From the Home Page click the Login link on the upper right corner of the screen.

 

Recover Username Process Steps

 

To recover an Exchange username:

 

1.      Click the Login link on the homepage.

·        The Login or Create Account screen is displayed.

2.      Click the Forgot Username/Password link in the Login to Your Existing Account.

·        The Forgot Your Username or Password? screen is displayed.

3.      Enter your email address in the Email Address textbox.

4.      Click Next.

·        A message saying that an email with your username has been sent to the email address provided displays.

5.      Click Return to Home Page.

·        The Home Page displays.

6.      Find your username in the email sent and use it to log in to the account.

 

 

Results of the Procedure

 

The username is recovered and the user can access his/her account.

 

 

Recover Password Process Steps

 

To recover an Exchange password:

 

1.      Click the Login link on the homepage.

·        The Login or Create Account screen is displayed.

2.      Click the Forgot Username/Password link in the Login to Your Existing Account.

·        The Forgot Your Username or Password? screen is displayed.

3.      Enter your username in the Username textbox.

4.      Click Next.

·        Two of the three security questions selected by the user when creating his/her account are displayed.

5.      Enter the answer for the questions in the textboxes.

7.      Click Next.

·        The Create a New Password screen is displayed.

8.      Enter your new password in the New Password textbox.

9.      Re-enter the new password in the Re-Enter New Password textbox.

Passwords must be 8-15 characters and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. Passwords may not contain your username, a repeated sequence of the same character, or words in the dictionary.

 

10.   Click the Create button.

·        A Password Reset Successful confirmation message is displayed.

11.   Click Next.

·        The Admin Dashboard is displayed.

 

 

Results of the Procedure

 

The password is reset and the user can access his/her account
